If the two big appellations of Lake Garda Custoza and Bardolino are experiencing a very lively relaunch, this is mainly due to wineries such as that of Piona Brothers. They were capable to redirect production towards a growth in terms of personality, tension and identity, without leaving aside that typical lightness and fragrance of such wines. They can profit from a lot of hectares of soil, thus allowing them to select only the best grapes for home production. Bardolino SP13 grants a stunning taste. It is no longer that usually simple, fruity and low-profile wine, which too often characterizes that appellation. The result is different and distinctive. The image is bright and transparent. Your nose can smell an intense smoked note and wild berries, while leaving the pace to medicinal herbs. The palate is savory and light, still determined and long-lasting at the same time. A wine you should never go without.
