WHITE WINES FROM VENETO: CUSTOZA DOC 2017

WINE TASTING:

One of the fathers of Custoza: this wine is made with many grapes, such as Garganega, Trebbiano, Tai, Cortese, Riesling italico, Pinot bianco and Chardonnay. Mildly soft pressing, fermentation and 5 months in steel tanks. Of a bright straw yellow color in the glass, you can smell fragrances of yellow peach, white melon and citrus at the nose. Of a wide palate in the mouth, this wine is fresh and savory with citrus traces, notes of sage, thyme and hazelnut with a pleasant almond flavor in the finale. A wine for all meals which finds a great balance in the bottles of Piona.

DENOMINATION: CUSTOZA DOC - YEAR 2017 

WINERY: All began something like 126 years ago in Località "Bellavista", the highest hill in Custoza. Today, the winery is proud of its 77 hectares of vineyard in the hearth of Custoza DOC, with fifteen appellations among Chiaretto, Bardolino, Custoza, Corvina, Merlot.
